The Yuba County Form BOE-19-X for 2025 is a request for property tax deferment under Revenue and Taxation Code section 69.6. It applies to homeowners who have filed a base year value transfer claim due to being at least 55 years old, severely disabled, or victims of wildfire/natural disaster and are awaiting the County Assessor’s determination.
The deferment allows eligible homeowners to temporarily postpone property tax payments without penalties or interest, provided they request it within one year of receiving their first tax bill and before January 1, 2024. However, taxes paid through an impound account do not qualify for deferment.
The form requires details about the original and replacement properties, the type of claim filed, and a certification by the homeowner.
